Leena Helenius was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, at the age of 35. The tumor was removed, and Leena lived a relatively normal life for three years, until the doctors noticed that the cancer had relapsed and metastasized to her lungs. Leena is undergoing treatments again, but because the cancer has spread, it’s now an incurable disease.We tend to associate cancer with old age.
