Information for the Audience:

The film Night Owls was partly based on Allan Ignaczak's own experiences working the night shift in Disney's Yacht Club Resort Hotel in Orlando, Florida before his decision to begin his film directing studies in the Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland. As a director who has worked during the night shift. I wanted to create the feeling of isolation and angst, which is common among the night time eployeees. I tried to create this feeling by emphasizing the space, distorting the image, and creating an isolated environment with the use of sound. The painting "Night Hawks" by Edward Hopper inspired the aesthetics as well as the title of the film.
