Synopsis: 

How far will a Mother go to protect her children?

A 2017 Sundance Official Selection, New Neighbors is a story about a mother and her two sons who move to a new neighborhood, and because of all the killings and assaults on Black lives she is determined to keep her family safe. She takes to the neighborhood with kids in tow. A clever, resourceful, and unique approach to the BLM dialogue.

One of the breakout short film successes of the year, New Neighbors, directed by E.G. Bailey, has been selected for nearly 90 film festivals around the world, including festivals in Mongolia, Finland, Nigeria, Portugal, Brazil, Ghana, Mexico, Italy, England and more. It kicked off the year as a 2017 Sundance Official Selection and continued with as an International Selection for the Tampere Film Festival, a First Prize for the Youth Jury Award at the Oscar qualifying Flickers' Rhode International Film Festival, along with selections for the L.A. Film Festival, Palm Springs Film Festival, Blackstar Film Festival, the British Urban Film Festival and more. It has won awards in nearly every categories at various festivals including Best Short, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematographer and two Best Screenplays.
