Karaoke People

This is a film about humanity….because EVERYONE karaokes...every age, race, religion, political belief. Karaoke is common ground. We choose to sing in front of each other...and we are fantastic and terrible at it.

But while some people sing karaoke, others are Karaoke People. I built a karaoke confessional booth to explore the difference.

  • To find out what makes Karaoke People unique
  • Why they seem to need karaoke in their lives
  • And how sometimes, it even saves their lives

Whether or not you like karaoke, it’s hard not to love Karaoke People.

Information for the Audience:

Some people sing karaoke. Others are karaoke people. I built a karaoke confessional booth to explore the difference, and discovered stories that will satisfy the addicts, entice the curious, and delight the naysayers.
