PLOT:
Amr Sallam, an egyptian 31-year-old guy, who graduated in Economy in Egypt, tells the journey that took him to Italy and the path he started here in 2008. Amr retraces these 8 years through an honest tale: at the beginning his desire to come to Rome in order to chase his dreams; then the injustice and oppression that he has to endure for them being the victim of an exploitative boss; and at last, thanks also to love, the rediscovery of his rights and of his dignity’s value as a human being, which will finally lead him to get his redemption. It’s a coming of an age story where Amr, the protagonist, after a strong inner revolution, experiences a growth, not just through gaining awareness of his identity that will bring him to act with strength and courage; but mostly by realising the transformation of his own initial dreams, together with the evolution of his ideas and expectations, that with time have changed for the best.

TRAMA:
Amr Sallam, un ragazzo egiziano di 31 anni, laureato in Economia in Egitto, racconta il suo viaggio per venire in Italia e il suo percorso qui dal 2008. Amr ripercorre attraverso un racconto sincero questi 8 anni: all’inizio il suo desiderio di venire a Roma per inseguire i suoi sogni; poi le ingiustizie e i soprusi che subisce per anni essendo vittima di un capo sfruttatore; e infine, grazie anche a una storia d’amore, la riscoperta dei suoi diritti e del valore della propria dignità in quanto essere umano, che lo condurrà finalmente a ottenere il proprio riscatto. E’ un racconto di formazione in cui Amr, il protagonista, dopo un’intensa rivoluzione interiore, vive un'evoluzione, non solo grazie alla presa di consapevolezza della propria identità, che lo condurrà ad agire con forza e con coraggio; ma anche soprattutto, grazie alla presa di coscienza della trasformazione di quei suoi stessi sogni iniziali, insieme al mutamento delle sue idee e aspettative, che col passare degli anni, sono cambiate, e in meglio.
