An aging woman shares a day at the beach with her son's friend and makes a surprising revelation.

When Kat receives an early morning voicemail from her friend, Vince, asking if she can take his mom to the beach for the day, she is not enthused. She begrudgingly agrees and upon first meeting Vince's mom, Connie, is not excited for the day ahead. Despite her initial doubts, Kat slowly forms a friendship with Connie throughout their conversations and begins to come to terms with her recent breakup. However, after drinking a bit too much, Connie reveals a secret that will change the course of the day...and probably the rest of her life.
